God’s Grace Foundation (GGF) Child Sponsorship
GGF knows the importance and value of education; it is paramount for the development of a country. Education is of vital importance for development and children everywhere have a right to be educated.
Education will revolutionise a child’s whole life, bringing a permanent change to the child and their entire family. Children’s rights should not have to depend on the economic capacity of their parents. The right to education is the most fundamental right of a child.
Unfortunately due to poverty, many children miss out on education. Many parents and guardians of orphans simply do not have the money to send their children to school.
There are high levels of poverty in the rural areas of developing nations. Unemployment level is very high and some children drop out of school to work in order to support themselves and their families. Some of these children end up as street children, this makes them vulnerable to abuse and child traffickers.
GGF seeks to create opportunities for children and young people through the provision of scholarships where poverty would otherwise force them to abandon their studies.
Why sponsor a child?
By sponsoring a child through GGF, you have the opportunity to make a difference in a child’s life. You will be giving a child hope for a brighter future.
How sponsorship works
The sponsorship pays for school fees, school uniform, shoes, books, stationery, home clothes, school meals and regular medical care. Sponsorship costs for a primary school child is 50p a day (£15 a month or £180 a year). Sponsorship for a secondary school child is 70p a day (£20 a month or £240 a year). You may choose to pay by standing order monthly or annually.
What will I receive from GGF
If you decide to sponsor a child with GGF, you will receive a photograph and details about your child. We will send you reports and photographs throughout the year on your child's progress. You will also receive an official school report and letters from your sponsored child.
Can major organisations sponsor a child?
Yes. Individuals, groups, companies or churches can all sponsor a child. Once the money is collected it can be paid monthly or annually
